If you want to stay away from the cold this winter and enjoy the winter months in some sunny paradise then you should get down to plan a vacation with friends or family. There is not better way that to enjoy the gentles summer sun this time of the year that to escape to a luscious beach destination and take part in some amazing water sports, discover nature or simply bask in the glorious sunlight. Whatever your need maybe, there are a number of beach destination to choose from to make your vacation perfect.

1. ANGUILLA

Anguilla has some of the best beaches in the Caribbean. Beautiful white sands line curved stretches of beach and look absolutely mesmerizing no matter what time of day. The good thing about beaches in Anguilla is that they are secluded. So at any given point the beach you are relaxing at will not be too crowded. It is known to be a very exclusive spot to vacation, so if you are looking to escape crowded city life, this is indeed the best bet.
Anguilla boasts of a number of fine dining restaurants and is also home to some of the most luxurious villas that you can rent out for your vacation. Snorkelling and diving too can form a part of your vacation.

2. DOMINICA

This one is not for beach lovers. It is for those with a dramatic sense of adventure. If you want to put on your hiking gear and trek deep into the forests that inhabit these islands, then Dominica is your perfect choice. Gorgeous lakes, cascading waterfalls in the midst of luscious greenery will make your summer vacation a holiday to remember.
There are a number of guest houses all through the island and all of them have been designed to ensure that you feel like you are sitting in the lap of nature. Guided tours are available
from time to time and all guides will ensure that you get to look at spots that are frequented by rare giant rodents and wild parrots. Humming birds too are very common at this holiday destination.
If you want to take off to the beach in Dominica you may have to drive a considerable distance from where you are saying. Dominica is perfect if you want to discover natural beauty in the hidden forests.

3. CUBA

If you do not want to go to Cuba for the fantastic Cuban cigars, do it for everything else that makes it special. Well, it’s in the Caribbean islands and that should be reason enough for you to step into this beautiful land.
Your stay in Cuba should not be spent in the hotel. You have to get out and experience Cuba for what t really is – rustic, gorgeous and culturally rich. You could also choose to live in one of the ancient mansions at Havana that have been recently restored. There are a number of things to do in Cuba, you could spend the night listening to a jazz band, dancing to some Salsa or simply sip at your beer at bars that were visited by Hemmingway.

4. MALDIVES

The Maldives is a great place to go to for a holiday. Each of the hotels that inhabit this beautiful archipelago is blessed with their own tropical landscape. You can experience exclusivity in the midst of nature and bathe in the sun and swim in the milky lagoons and pretend that you are the only few there.

5. MIAMI

Last on the list of the five best beaches to hit on your winter-summer vacation is Miami. Miami is the perfect beach party destination if you want to drink and dance the night away while you are on your holiday. There are a number nightclubs, bars and restaurants in the south beach part of Miami, and staying around that side would make your trip a real success.
